5 Stars. . . In exquisite Linda Windsor form, ALONG CAME JONES is a just-one-more-page-can’t-put-it-down fun read.

"Linda Windsor’s writing style is fresh and fun. You can’t help but love Deanna and Shep, who so clearly exhibit the adage opposites attract. Put them together with a small group of nosey but helpful town folk, and a realistic look at the struggle ordinary folk have with faith, and you have ALONG CAME JONES.

I highly recommend ALONG CAME JONES. Whether you are engaged by plot or characters, you won’t be disappointed because ALONG CAME JONES is a rare instance where both are wild, relevant, and real. Treat yourself to ALONG CAME JONES, you won’t be disappointed."

Linda Mae Baldwin

Ms. Windsor’s latest novel is peppered with gun-toting mobsters, a flock of well-meaning church members and full of love; between Deanna and Shepard, as well as God’s forgiving love. Their tale of triumph over heartache and evil, make this one romance that will not be forgotten. “Along Came Jones,” will leave readers spellbound and wanting more.

Linda Windsor should be pegged the Master of Banter. The playful, and sometimes fiery, banter between Shep and Deanna is electrifying and entertaining. Windsor’s innate sense of humor comes through in grand style in ALONG CAME JONES.

Deanna’s doubts and struggles, and her fear of trusting were very realistic. Who couldn’t help but fall in love with gallant and humorous Shep Jones? The small town of Buffalo Butte came to life with its neighborly town café and colorful characters, and the ghost town on Shep’s ranch added a fun and interesting twist. Windsor does a masterful job of weaving a strong message of God’s love and His ability to renew a discouraged, wounded soul.

If DEA agents, nasty bad guys, a sweet, vulnerable heroine, a wonderful, handsome hero, and a powerful message of faith and encouragement are your liking, run out and buy a copy of ALONG CAME JONES. You won’t be disappointed.

Though there are religious elements included ALONG CAME JONES is more of a romantic suspense thriller than an inspirational romance... The story line hooks the audience from almost the beginning. Readers will love Linda Windsor’s latest contemporary tale.
